Update

My life is a up and down… Things are always changing. Here resent my I have been complaining about how busy we have been, but we are living our life!!!

I’m not making time to work out this week I’m working on that! Sometime active everyday! Tomorrow I am starting my day off right and going to the gym!

I also have ordered the 21 day fix! Y’all i sooo sooo soo excited for it to come in the mail! 5 to 7 business days is going to feel like FOREVER! If you are doing the 21 day fix I would love to know your thoughts and I need some accountably, and if you do too let me know!! I would love to be your buddy!

That’s really all I have to report on!

Confidence!

All my life I’ve been struggling with confidence. I never know who I am, I never know how I feel, but I do know I always felt bad about myself.

Confidence is something I always have been lacking. Today I was watching TV and I saw the best commercial I’ve ever seen. I’ve tried a lot of diets out there. I’ve tried the diet pills, I’ve tried lose weight quick scams, I’ve tried slim fast, I’ve tried Special K. I have tried pretty much anything there is any sort of scam that there is to get to lose weight fast I have tried.

There commercials are so interesting. They seem like what they are offering you is going to work no matter what. They never come up with something that makes you feel good except for Special K.

I have recently discovered that I hate jeans. I hate how tight they are, I hate how itchy they are, and I hate that I can’t move around them like I can in yoga pants( my new favorite). Two weekends ago I was at a bachelorette party in Nashville. It was with a group of girls who I am not necessarily friends with now, but in high school we all hung out we went to parties together. Of course we were all different in high school. Me personally I was much thinner, I was more confident, and I was very popular. In high school jeans were my thing I pretty much had enough jeans that I could wear one every single day of the month and not have to wash any. Now that situation is yoga pants I have that meany yoga pants. We were all wearing the same shirts and jeans I was complaining about my jeans and they couldn’t believe I didn’t like jeans anymore!

And as I look threw photos I find out even in college I was rocking jeans!

It’s so funny how when were in the present we think were so overweight but then a few years down the road we go back and look at it and was like oh my god we were so skinny! All through college I was like oh I’m overweight, oh I’m too fat, oh this, oh that, but when I look at it now. I’m like holy cow I was actually at a healthy weight!

So why I have I compiled all of these jean picture from my prime? Special K had the best love your self commercial! If you haven’t seen it please please watch it!!

Sunday funday! (Trail day!)

Today I didn’t accomplish much… However I did manage to get some laundry done, go to church, nail down church stuff till Christmas, and go on a WALK!!! Trixie (my puppy) and I went for a long walk today!

This was a long walk for Trixie!! Poor thing was soo tired! It was a fairly easy walk for me I wasn’t very winded. witch was good, however I wanted to run a little but Trixie wasn’t up for it! Oh and she is why the time is sooooooo bad is Trixie has to stop and pee like a million times! AHHH… Oh well, I’m just happy that we were able to get out and do something!!

We had such a great time! With this beautiful weather we have now, I’m hoping I can come out here a lot more and maybe start running some on the trail! I would have to start running first… But I think I can!

This week will be a awesome week because I’m on vacation!! I’m hoping to make it to the gym a lot and to get the house all together! This week is also anniversary week. YAY!!! 3 years!!! But this means lots and lots of good yummy food!! But I’m hoping by Thursday I will have lost some weight!

Pizza Friday

I bet you didn’t know it was thing but it is! Every Friday at the school I teach at our children order dominos pizza! I can’t ever resist the 3 P’s (pizza, popcorn, and pastries). I struggle every week to not eat pizza! It smells good and is cheese and bready and all sorts of goodness ahhhhhh… I just suffered threw the pain of all of my kids eating pizza and I had cereal; gross, nasty, soggy, bland, and not cheesy goodness. So as I am basking in my bitterness I have decided to find a healthy pizza alternative!

Thinking about having it for dinner y’all!

Cauliflower Pizza Crust Recipe

Ingredients
1 head cauliflower 7 – 8″ wide
1 egg, large
1/2 cup Parmesan or Mozzarella cheese, grated/shredded & not packed
1 tsp Italian (or rosemary, basil, parsley) herb seasoning
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and line round pizza baking sheet with parchment paper.
Rinse cauliflower, remove the outer leaves and separate into florets with a paring knife. Place cauliflower florets in a food processor and process until “rice” texture. Some coarse chunks are fine.

Place on a prepared baking sheet and bake for 15 mins.

Remove cooked cauliflower from the oven and transfer to a bowl lined with a double/triple layered cheesecloth. Then squeeze the liquid out of the ball, cauliflower inside the cheesecloth, as hard as you can. Be patient and do this a few times until barely any liquid comes out. Muscle work.:)

Increase oven T to 450 degrees F. Transfer cauliflower to a mixing bowl along with egg, cheese, herb seasoning, salt, black pepper and mix to combine.

Transfer cauliflower mixture onto the same baking sheet you used to roast the florets (I used the same parchment paper but you can swap it for a new one if it gets too soggy), and flatten with your hands until thin pizza crust forms.

Bake for 15 – 20 minutes and remove from the oven.

Top with your favourite toppings and bake again until cheese on top turns golden brown.

Slice and enjoy.

Hit rock bottom…

Yes yes … Here I am back with a total defeat I have managed to lose 14 pounds and gain them ALL back. I am currently in the lowest of lows right now! I haven’t been to weight watchers in 3 weeks. Tonight when I skipped I wanted to throw up. However I then turned around and over indulged on Chinese food! I have a wedding in October, and it’s like with all of my high school friends! I don’t know what’s going on! You would think that I would be super motivated to lose this weight, but I’m just doing worse! Blahhhhh

So here I am trying again!! How many more times I will do this I have no idea! But as of right now I am going to do the right thing. I know no that 90% of the time NO ONE reads this. Apart of me loves that.. And I can use this as a journal. There are times when I would like to use this for accountability I don’t know how I am going to get this blog to that but it’s my goal!

I’m going to try and blog 4 out of 7 days. And talk about lots of stuff with different themes!

Tomorrow it all ends… I’m soo excited to say that because the past 3 days I have been in bed sick and now I’m done. I getting up and going tomorrow! I’m going back to work I’m living a different life I’m going to wake up, have breakfast, do something active, and go to work! If I can’t do that then I will do something active as soon as I get home, or I will go to the gym after work! However I would like to clean the house and get my life clean and back together!

I will let you know tomorrow how it goes fingers crossed and hoping I can do it!

I can’t believe I have lost 15 almost 16 pounds. I have not always been good, and some weeks I have gained a lot! But I think 15 pounds is HUGE! 4.2 pounds and I will have lost 10% yay!!

I am also 10 pounds away from my 1st goal weight I would love to be there by July 4th! My plan to do this is
…zumba baby!

Just a update I have been doing zumba ALOT in the past 3 weeks and it’s been so enjoyable. I also got the game so I could do it at home and so far I have done it for 4 days!

I’m so proud of myself for sticking with this! I had to learn to do it for myself not anyone else! And I’m proud of myself for the first time in a long LONG time!

I’m also thinking about setting a date to go for training. Just a thought in the air right now. Look for later post to see my pros and cons!

Hope to be less of myself next time!

The gym vs Zumba

The gym is so great and horrible all at the same time! Zumba is fun exciting but cost money

Good part of the gym:

When I get there I feel like a gym person! You know those people who look awesome and are just cool because they go to the gym.

Tanning, my current gym has tanning and it’s awesome!

It’s open all the time I can go when ever

(WOW that’s my pro list 3 things)

Cons to the gym:

I have to go their. Sounds lazy but it’s the truth. I work really long workdays days 7:45 to 5:30 with children all day. My only choices are a getting up at 5 in the Morning and working out or bgoing after a long day work and getting in a hour and a half at the gym and being leaving the gym at 7:15

I’m sure most of you are reading this say that both of those are do-able. I understand that, but not a morning person… I have tried everything possible. Y’all my alarm clock is in the other Room and I still wake up, get out of bed, walk down the hall, stubble over my gym clothes that i put there for that reason , turn the alarm off, walk back to my room and get back in bed . That is how much of a non morning person I am. Oh, and might I add, I was in bed by 10. Nothing gets me up, last night is told myself I could go get my toes done if I got up and went to the gym. this is truly a nightly thing … I lay in bed and think about a reward I can give myself. I even find myself asking Tricia ‘what will you give me if I make it to the gym tomorrow’ nothing gets me out of bed!! BTW didn’t go this morning.

After school I’m so ready to be home I don’t even like to go shopping. 99% of the time go strait home so lame I know bur mainly I miss Tricia so much I need see her ASAP.

I also like to make dinner…homemade if I went to the gym afterwork that would put me home at what time did we say …. 7:15 … I’m not a speed cook, so dinner at 8:30 that’s so late. Tricia will have turned in to a raisin by then!

Worst Part Is they don’t offer classes. Zumba is my favorite thing on this earth!! And yoga in the morning is great! Maybe some kick boxing and there is plyo and why can’t everyone do cross fit?? You only need a couple of things!!

Soo I’m pretty sure I’m dropping the gym membership and doing Zumba. A co-worker ad I have tried a few things and it has fallen threw. I think we can do this. I have the beginner DVDs and there are three DVDs. If I can do it for a week I can buy the set they have on TV. with the stepper 4 payments is 19.95 that’s 4 mouths of gym for hopefully a life time of fitness and maybe even a side job.

I have gone to classes on and off for 5 years now makes me sound old and I love the energy the dancing and how much it’s like cheering! But I wanna do it more but I don’t wanna pay 6$ everyday to go to a different zumba class everyday so I’m trying it at home!

I wanted the Kinnect zumba and I had it but I don’t know where it is soo mad!

I started the beginner tonight and I feel pretty great about it. I learned some stuff!! And I just feel wonderful when I do it!! One step closer to being a instructor. Thinking about looking at dates the classes for maybe a goal to truly be ready by. But don’t wanna do pin it down right yet… Maybe week 3… Don’t worry I will keep it posted!

The only con was I kicked Tricia out of the living room! This means work out room!! We have a guest bedroom that I use as a storage room!! So goal this weekend it’s getting cleaned and moved around!! So it can be a work out room! I also still haven’t got rid of my clothes that are to big. That’s happening too I think!

I’m jut happy to be feeling better and moving again! Also got not one not two but three comments about how I’m loosing weight…. Can you say OMG my day was totally made by three simple comments!
